Research, Policy and Communications Intern

A recent Politics and International Relations graduate from Queen Mary University of London. Mariam has accumulated work experience in government, political research, and sustainability, which is an area of immense interest to her.

In her previous roles, she has had the opportunity to conduct primary research, analyse the data, written articles, and managed social media, all which have provided her with the skillset for the role as a Research, Policy, and Communications intern.

Additionally, Mariam is interested in examining structures of inequality from both a practical and historical perspective. She is excited to work with Pro Bono Economics to help charities reach their potential, directly tackling inequality and increasing wellbeing across the UK.

Outside of work Mariam enjoys weightlifting, hiking, and painting.
