These slides illustrate the framework which underpins PBE’s work on cost-benefit analysis, spanning four main areas.
- mental health support;
- employment and training support;
- poverty (including homelessness); and
The PBE approach typically considers a specific programme(s) (or ‘interventions’) rather than the entirety of a charity’s work using a two-stage framework. The first stage assesses a given intervention and its effect on outcomes, while the second consists of an economic analysis of impacts. This presentation contains a high-level overview of this approach, together with information on common factors that should be taken into consideration by volunteers and charities alike when attempting to isolate the attribution and impact of an intervention.
