Jessica joined Pro Bono Economics in October 2018 to manage the Oak Foundation programme. This collaboration offers tailored support from Pro Bono Economics, the Cranfield Trust and Pilotlight to grantees of the Oak Foundation working in the area of housing and homelessness.
She began her career in corporate finance, advising technology companies on fund-raising and M&A deals, first at FirstCapital for five years, then at Piper Jaffray for two. She then decided to pivot her career towards social impact. Through the On Purpose Associate programme, in 2017/18, she delivered strategic projects for Guy's and St Thomas Charity, the independent health foundation, and ThinkForward, the youth employment charity. Jessica has a first class degree in Natural Sciences from the University of Cambridge, and an MA in Philosophy of Cognitive Science from the University of Sussex.
