Pedro Serodio

Economic Associate

Pedro is a Lecturer in Economics at Middlesex University with over a decade of experience of teaching and research in higher education, broadly specialising on macroeconomics, with an emphasis on the topics of the relationship between business cycles and long-run economic growth, and the role of financial intermediation on monetary policy. He has previously held positions at the Economics Departments of the University of Essex and the University of Warwick, and has been involved in several consultancy projects for the design and implementation of economic models for the purposes of assisting monetary policy.

Pedro holds a PhD in Economics from the University of Essex and has supervised over 50 research projects at both the undergraduate and graduate levels, some of which were either published or have been entered in international competitions.
