What's the opportunity?

Community Southwark provides community voluntary services and volunteer support within Southwark. They require support to streamline a monthly financial reporting process that takes data from the accounting software Xero and processes it into a set of Excel reports.

What do we need from a volunteer?

We need a volunteer with experience of streamlining manual data management processes through the use of Excel, Visual Basic or, potentially, PowerBI 

They will need to: 

  • Take time to understand existing processes and the charity's needs 
  • Scope out potential solutions 
  • Deliver an alternative, sustainable solution
  • Provide documentation and training for internal staff members so that they can confidently use the new processes

What are the timescales?

Starting: ASAP 

Deadline: Approximately 2 months after starting 

Closing date for applications: 9am on Tuesday, 26th October

We anticipate this to be approximately 5-7 days of volunteer work 

 

If you are selected to volunteer for this project:

  • You will be working directly with Community Southwark. PBE is responsible for matching.
  • If Community Southwark share personal data with you, you should only use the data as instructed by Community Southwark.
