Congratulations to Richard Thaler: Winner of Nobel Prize for Economics 2017

Congratulations to Richard Thaler, one of the founding fathers of "nudge theory" and Professor at the University of Chicago Booth School of Business, our partner based in the City, for his excellent achievement winning the Nobel Prize for Economics this year. A former speaker for Pro Bono Economics ("A world on the edge" with PBE Chairman Lord Gus O'Donnell on July 18, 2017), we are delighted to see a pioneer in behavioural economics take the prize in 2017.

Biography

Richard H. Thaler is the Charles Walgreen Distinguished Service Professor of Economics and Behavioural Science at the University of Chicago's Graduate School of Business where he is director of the Center for Decision Research.
