Volunteer for Women of Wolverhampton

What’s the opportunity?  

Women of Wolverhampton (WOW) is the leading network for women and women’s organisations in Wolverhampton with the aim of improving the lives of women in the city. They champion women’s equality and provide a platform for women to network, voice their views, influence decision making and participate fully in city life through offering various support programmes and activities such as yoga or dance.  

What do we need from a volunteer? 

WOW has recently run an in-person baseline survey of 14 attendees of their dance, yoga and sewing classes. The survey consists of 15 quantitative questions and 1 qualitative question. WOW lacks the capacity and analytical skills to enter and analyse the data digitally.  

They would like a volunteer to: 

  1. input the data from the 14 surveys (scanned copies) into Excel. 

  1. analyse the data and create data visualisations to showcase the results. 

The visualisations will be used to establish a baseline and form part of a larger piece of analysis, completing in Dec 24 with another survey to inform funders and stakeholders of the impact of the group and their activity.  

The ideal volunteer would have skills in data entry and analysis in Excel, creating data visualisations.  

What are the timescales? 

Starting: May 2024  

Deadline: 22 July 2024 

Closing date for applications: Tuesday 7 May 

We anticipate this to be approximately 2-3 days of volunteer work.

  • You will be working directly with Women of Wolverhampton (WOW). PBE is only responsible for matching.
