Julia Grant will be leaving her role as Chief Executive Officer of Pro Bono Economics towards the end of 2019 to continue building her portfolio career as a non-executive director.

Among her most notable achievements since joining the charity in 2016 include building a new and robust operational framework to cater for its significant expansion in general activities, and diversifying and solidifying Pro Bono Economics’ funding sources.

Julia Grant said:

“It has been a real privilege for me to serve as Chief Executive of Pro Bono Economics for the last three years; this charity has a unique mission. I would like to thank the Board who have shown unwavering support in me throughout my time here and my colleagues, past and present. All have helped set this charity on a path towards achieving even greater impact through sharing the findings of work with a much wider and influential audience.”

Lord Gus O’Donnell, Chairman of Pro Bono Economics said:

“Since her appointment at the start of 2016, Julia has built a team to deliver a significant range of new work, showing exactly why Pro Bono Economics’ mission is every bit as important now as it was a decade ago. Julia’s will be a hard act to follow, but with the calibre of team she has established, this promises to be an exciting period for us.”

Pro Bono Economics has selected Fidelio Partners to oversee the recruitment process for Julia Grant’s replacement. Further details can be found in the link below. The new CEO is expected to be appointed over the coming months to ensure a comprehensive transition while Julia is still in post and ensure a smooth succession.
