Rachel Gomez Senior Economist Rachel joined PBE as an Economist in September 2021. Prior to this, she worked as a government economist in Defra for three years. Through her analytical work to support environmental policymaking, she enjoyed researching new ways to assess non-monetary impacts such as health or social effects. For her MSc dissertation, Rachel studied the relationship between ethnic inequality and development across Africa. She advocates for equality and social cohesion, and is excited to work with charities to help them maximise their social impact.
