Economic Associate

Sadia has 20 years’ experience as a professional economist working at some of the UK’s top-ranked economic consultancies. In her current role, she is a leading member of the Economics Group at a FTSE 100 company. Sadia works extensively with clients from the public sector, financial services, retail, construction, utilities, spatial planning and residential real estate across the UK and Europe, advising them in periods of significant economic uncertainty, such as during the 2008 financial crisis, Brexit and, more recently, the Covid pandemic.

Sadia specialises in analysis of the UK macroeconomy, its sectors and local area performance, with a particular interest in labour, skills and housing trends. She is highly experienced in working with large, detailed datasets and in applying advanced econometric techniques, statistical analytics and data visualisation techniques to derive insight, forecast economic trends and establish an evidence base for decision-making. Sadia holds a master's degree in Economics from the University of Oxford.
